Senior Colts - Match Report - Burnley

Following a disappointing start to the season, there was a desire from the team to put into practice all they have learnt during the off season.

With a vast majority of the possession in the first half the senior colts camped out in the opposition 22, however they where unable to get across the try line.

This changed following quick ball of the base of a ruck from Sam Cooper and a marauding run from Tommy Calderbank, the score remained 5 - 0 at half time.

With a squad of 22 there where a number of changes at the start of the second half, however there was no loss in commitment or intensity during a hard and physical came.

The colts continued to apply pressure throughout the second half, never letting Burnley settle, good use of the boot ensured the the game was once again played in the Burnley 22.

Eventually two further tries where scored by the forwards, thus sealing the first win of the season for the senior colts.
