What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals with a variety of financial and administrative skills. Ideally, the Treasurer should have:

  • Financial Management Experience – Ability to oversee budgets, accounts, and financial planning.

  • Bookkeeping & Accounting Skills – Experience in handling club finances, payments, and record-keeping.

  • Fundraising & Sponsorship Knowledge – Ability to support income generation initiatives.

  • Attention to Detail & Compliance – Understanding of financial regulations, tax obligations, and RFU reporting requirements.

  • Strong Communication Skills – Ability to present financial information clearly to the committee and club members.

Your Responsibilities as Treasurer

  • Manage the club’s finances, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.

  • Prepare and present financial reports to the committee and members.

  • Oversee budgeting and financial planning for club activities and projects.

  • Ensure timely collection of membership fees and other club income.

  • Monitor and control club expenditures in line with budgets.

  • Maintain compliance with RFU financial regulations and other relevant guidelines.
